Summary
It's been a year since the war, and things were going well for everyone on Etheria until unexplained groups of clones started invading villages across the planet. When Catra gets injured in one of the attacks, Adora suddenly feels like her world is out of balance, and even when she heals neither of the two can seem to find solid ground again with all of the chaos swirling around them. Who's sending out the clones? What are they after? How will the best friend squad deal with the strange new things that are seeping into their life in the meantime? Sometimes the demons you thought were firmly in your past don't always stay there.

"Shadow Weaver." She spits out, eyes blazing. She struggles against the restraints, her muscles bulging, but it's no use. "Just wait until the Alliance hears about this."
"Oh but, Adora. You've defected willingly." Shadow Weaver croons. It makes both Catra and Adora look at the sorceress intently. "In fact, you haven't defected at all—you've always been part of the Horde."
Adora furrows her brow. "What are you talking about? I've always lived in Bright Moon." Her voice is shaking now, her eyes darting between the sorceress and Catra.
Shadow Weaver lets out a low laugh. "Correct. But when I'm done with you, that won't even be a distant memory. All you'll remember is being my good little foot soldier and wanting to serve Hordak."
"I will never willingly serve the Horde."
Weaver's laugh is cold and deep like it comes from somewhere other than her chest. "Oh, you will. Once I take away every memory you have of ever being in the Alliance."
OR
Catra kidnaps She-ra and Shadow Weaver wipes her memory, making Adora believe she and Catra have always been best friends. Could the former enemies ever be more? Canon-Divergent Mind Wipe AU.

Adora is shocked to say the least when she one day finds Catra outside her room, beaten, bloody, and begrudgingly asking for a place to stay before promptly falling unconscious.
With the Horde's second in command passed out on her bed, Adora isn't completely sure what to do. When she decides to secretly nurse Catra back to health? Well, that's when things get a bit strange.
Now Catra is faced with a choice. Once she heals, will she go back to the Horde? Will she stay at Brightmoon? Or does she have ulterior motives? And when Brightmoon's greatest defender starts developing feelings, how will her loyalties be tested?
