Summary
When her publisher agrees for a book tour for the final book in her fantasy trilogy, Glimmer Queen sees it as a chance to pay it forward by visiting all the indie bookshops that have hand-sold her books into bestsellers over the years. But when her team (agent Catra, publicity manager Adora) set up a stop at a small queer bookstore in the middle of nowhere, Glimmer knows they're up to something. Probably a publicity stunt since a little snooping reveals the gay couple who own the bookstore are the fathers of her cover model, the beefy guy whose chiselled abs are probably responsible for half the sales of her cheesy bisexual fire elf series.
Glimmer's not thrilled about being thrown into proximity with what's probably some muscled meathead gym-bro, but anything for her readers! At least she doesn't have to worry about being nervous around someone she'd actually be attracted to!
Well, unless her friends have sprung a trap to set her up with a sweetheart dork who's exactly her type.

Summary
Bright Moon was a small tourist town. The kind of place people visited, not the kind of place they stayed in. So for someone like Adora, looking to take a little time to grow up and prepare herself for the next step in her life, spending a year here made sense.
It was just supposed to be a stop in the road to bigger and better things. But the people were so nice and Adora had never really had a lot of friends growing up.
Then there was Catra. The kind of person that could throw a wrench into even the most well thought out plan.
