Tendou tilts his head curiously, in the way that he always does. “Oh? And what makes you say that, Wakatoshi-kun?”
Wakatoshi has never trusted his instinct—he trusts things that he can see, things that he can hear, things that he can touch. Things that are real. Never things that he feels. But this—this goes far beyond what is real and what is not.
“Tendou has only ever called me Ushijima or Ushiwaka, never by my given name. Tendou was certainly good at guessing during games, but never to the degree you’ve shown me. And most importantly—Tendou favored both of my arms equally.” Wakatoshi glances down at his left hand, where Tendou has a tight grip on his wrist. “You, however, seem to favor my left.”
Wakatoshi takes a deep breath. Prays that he’s wrong.
“I know what you are, Satori.”
For a second, Tendou remains silent. Then, he scoffs. And all of a sudden—he begins to change.
“Huh,” Satori says, the shock evident in his voice. “I don’t think I’ve ever guessed wrong before.”

"God, I love you, Tooru." The words slipped out of Hajimes mouth, but he didnt register it until the taller boy turned around in confusion, his rant momentarily stopped to ask Hajime something.
"What did you say, Iwa?" His eyebrows were scrunched together cutely, his eyes holding confusion. Hajime scoffed, half in amusement, half in relief that the setter hadn't heard anything. He raised an eyebrow as they continued to walk down the wet street.
"Is the wind making you hear things, Oikawa?" Tooru immediately huffed and pouted at the accusation. "I'm not deaf, Iwa-chan." Tooru turned away as if he were mad, yet the way he walked a little bit closer to Hajime meant something. He continued to speak, but this time a little bit quieter, as if trying to listen for something.
"Hey Iwa, did you know that milk bread was invented around the 1860's?" His voice was energetic, full of excitement to share the fact.
"That's cool, where'd you hear that from?" Hajimes voice was piqued with interest to keep the other talking. To keep hearing his voice going through his ears. A soft smile adorned the spikers face, seeing the visible excitement that the other had was enough for now.

Hanamaki choked on his spit at Iwaizumi's brutal honesty. He held back no punches.
"In fact.." Iwaizumi trailed off, , "-I bet I'll get more confessions than you on Valentine's Day."
Kunimi whistled in the background as Matsukawa nodded. Hanamaki clapped giddily as Kyoutani and Yahaba's eyebrows shot up. None of them had ever seen Iwaizumi this competitive. Especially against Oikawa, and especially when the main subject was about wooing superficial people.
A neutral, yet somehow intimidating expression overcame Oikawa as he stared at Iwaizumi with full ferocity.
"Is that a challenge, Hajime?"
Hanamaki whispered to Watari, "They can't be serious."
"You can never tell with Oikawa-san."
Iwaizumi leaned in, flicking Oikawa in the forehead.
"And what if it is?" He growled.
