Summary
Ever since the events of his fourth year, Harry Potter has been drowning. He’d already been struggling for years, and a mixture of fresh trauma, mounting pressure, and disturbing nightmares is pushing him closer and closer to the edge.
His friends see him falling apart more and more, but they’re powerless to help him. The adults in his life are willing to turn a blind eye to his ever-increasing issues, so long as they’re able to maintain their idea of a savior and keep their plans in place.When Harry Potter arrived at Hogwarts, Severus Snape's life became exponentially harder as he tried to field threats against a boy he didn’t even like and take up spy work again at the same time. With the return of the Dark Lord, Severus also suddenly had to work to protect his godson from the threat looming over them; if Draco fell into the Dark Lord’s hands like his father, he would never escape.
Severus is content to allow the obvious problems rising in Potter to be addressed by the boy’s other teachers, and the people who cared for him. However, as more issues arose and intensified, one thing became obvious: Severus may be the only person with both the power to help Potter, and the will to do so. -

@terrifier put out a work with a bunch of abandoned drafts that were available to pick up, so I picked up this one. I take no credit for this idea, I am merely finishing what they started and sprinkling in a few different things.
Here is the summary they wrote:
An AU that avoids Civil War and Pietro’s death, the Avengers are trying out Tony’s memory thing but they get stuck in Wanda’s memories, thus they learn a lot about her and Pietro.
(They planned on writing a relationship between Natasha and Wanda in this, but I am going to change it to no relationships set since I wrote it as a kind of character study. I also am killing Pietro ((haha sorry)) cus I’m exploring her grief as well. Hope that's ok @terrifier!)

Summary
Wanda and Natasha are both struggling after Sokovia; Wanda with the death of her brother, Natasha with the resurfacing of her past. This creates a rocky start for them, namely the fact that Natasha entirely blames Wanda for opening up old wounds. It leads Wanda down a path of guilt, self destruction, and pain. But eventually, it gives way to something lighter. Something they both need more than they ever realized – a family.
Or – Natasha ends up Wanda's worst fear, turned legal guardian, turned mom. Eventually.
