Summary
Parallel play, that’s what the internet had called it when Phil looked it up in some vague way of making sense of it all. When children, usually ages 2-3, play together just by virtue of being in the same area. Together, but not connected. Phil thinks it’s fitting. Not that he and Tommy were toddlers anymore, but it works well enough for them.

You know, Techno figured that he would have gotten tired of retirement by now.
When Techno had stumbled across the small arctic village, it had been almost deceptively perfect. There were enough resources for him to set up a base, he could trade with the villagers for food, and no one knew where he was. That was good enough for him.
(Technoblade just wants to live in the arctic alone, is that too much to ask? Apparently yes, as his family keeps dragging him back into their drama. They're lucky he loves them.)

“I-” Philza stared down at his hands, a few flecks of ash still remaining on his gloves. The haze from earlier began to return. “It took away so much from me, barely giving anything in return.” He looked back up at the tundra. “That’s why I did it.”
"Oh." The teen sounded guilty, and it almost hurt. Philza continued walking, mind once again lost to the fog.
