Along the way, Omen discovers the less-than-savory methods of information brokering and its toll on the Sentinel, and tries to help him cope. Cypher dispels the walls the ghost has always imagined between himself and the rest of humanity, and encourages him to receive the intimacy and love he deserves.

Gekko blinks. That certainly explains the wardrobe, or lack thereof. He reaches out a hand to clap Iso on the shoulder, thinks better of it, and sticks to finger guns instead. “Hey, man, no worries! I can’t imagine they gave you ample time for shopping sprees back in Hourglass.”
Alternatively: im trying to make up for the fact that iso has basically no voicelines with other agents by showering him in love and support

Summary
Dead Lilac was a master at the craft of assassination. All of his gigs for his "hourglass" employers were quick and easy, always ending with some Kingdom associate(s) dead at his feet. He never asked questions, just got the job done and went on to the next. They were all corporate scumbags, after all. That is, until he's assigned to take out a new target that has him questioning his morals: Mateo Armendáriz De la Fuente.
