jungwon was normal, maybe even above the average person. okay who are we kidding jungwon was exceptional: top of his class, head boy, a steady shoulder to his 'acquittances', black belt in taekwondo, slim and just pretty. but we all have our flaws, no?
jay was normal too. did well in the classes that mattered (to him..), fit in every aspect, mind & heart of gold and a tendency to pull out the nasty, flawed weeds that bloom in the ridges, hidden away. perhaps even the nooks of a certain someone's brain too.

Summary
All Jungwon wants to do is work and survive his time off from school. Every monotonous day brings him closer to a decision on his future. The repetitiveness of the restaurant slowly drives him mad, until one rainy day when a strange man appears, soaking wet and unintentionally threatening Jungwon's own ideals and morals.
Even as years pass, the existence of Sunghoon haunts Jungwon. He can't get the man and his memories away, even as a new partner tries to take his place.
Jungwon has to juggle the feeling of being inadequate and the reality of his sexuality to find peace with the man he truly loves.

Summary
“Engene!” Jungwon shouts into the mic, and the crowd responds in loud cheers.
Sunghoon grins, and he waits. He waits for Jungwon's eloquent words, his warm sincerity, thoughtful thank yous.
What he gets is quiet sniffling.
His heart plummets to a pit in his stomach. It's like gravity has remembered his existence, slamming him back to the ground at once. His smile stays somewhat intact, but it's a difficult thing to maintain when he feels like he's been smacked back to reality.
A reality where Jungwon is seconds away from sobbing.
Or: Sunghoon comforting Jungwon after winning the biggest award in their career.

Summary
Everyone’s breaking a little, but no one’s saying it out loud.
Oikawa pushes through knee pain in silence, pretending everything’s fine while overworking himself and skipping meals. He’s always the last one in the gym, the one who smiles first and falls apart quietly after. His house is empty, and so is he, most nights.
Hinata lies about not eating — says it’s on purpose, that it’s a training thing — even though he’s lightheaded and aching. He covers bruises. He laughs it off. No one sees what happens at home. That’s the point.
Iwaizumi hears his parents fighting through the walls every night but doesn’t react anymore. He texts Oikawa like he always does — short, practical, safe. He doesn’t ask the questions he wants to. He’s anxious all the time and doesn’t even realize it’s not normal.
Kageyama goes home to silence. His routine is mechanical: eat, shower, sleep, repeat. He thinks about his parents in flashes — in sirens, in silence, in the heat of shower water too long on his skin. He doesn’t let the memory in all the way.
None of them talk. But everything is getting heavier.

Summary
There’s only a small gap between a flawless stage and a trip to the hospital.
