A really great work about exploitation and Vaggie and Angel's relationship in a dark AU. The characters were written so well, and I really appreciated how Angel wasn't a perfect person who could do no wrong, and how that wrong wasn't brushed off or treated as something without impact. I find that very rare sometimes, and this author did an amazing job of going after that theme.

This has some of the best characterization I have ever read, and to boot is written in the uncommon second perspective, making it all the more unique. A lot of almost poetic lines in this that really make you feel something too.

A really excellent and shorter bit of writing for HK. I really liked the almost hopeful nature of living with chronic pain and reconciling with that, and the trauma was described very well with the initial issue that brought that about. This author all around is a great writer, and when I was more interested in the source material, I followed their other work, Lost Kin, very intently. I recommend this fic to anyone who enjoys whump, and also encourage people who like Hollow Knight to read their other stuff.

The writing for this fic is absolutely phenomenal and took my breath away with how excellent the wording was. Great character study through sex, and an excellent one-shot. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the personality-driven side to smut.
