Summary
Holland March hated this place.
He hated the door that wouldn't close properly, he hated the chipping white paint with black scuff marks. He hated the broken screens on the windows; he hated the dead flowerbeds and bushes in front of the house. He hated that despite housing three children, the house looked like it held no children at all. No colorful bikes in the yard, no toy trucks or balls. But most of all, he hated that he could hear Henry screaming at his nephews through the beat-up door, he hated that his sister was still married to this douchebag.
in other words: Holland March takes his nephews to California only for tragedy to strike. let's see how this plays out.

Summary
It was an easy decision to pull the trigger. It was a little harder to take his brothers with him and run. It was even harder to tell his brothers to stay put at their estranged uncle's door before Court left. But, it was for the best. He'd be found, and at least the twins would still be together and somewhere safe. Only, the police didn't find him. Instead, some rugged looking man did and decided to just take him in.
Holland March was a terrible father who cheated old ladies out of their money. He had no redeeming qualities, but waking up in the late morning to a knock at his door, he didn't expect to find his two younger nephews asking for him and looking like they both got hit by a car. He can't get any explanations from them, but he knew enough that they would be safer under his roof than wherever they were before.
OR
Court brings his brothers, Ryland and Colt, across the country after killing their dad and leaves them with their Uncle March before running again, only to be taken in by Jackson Healy. Story starts a few weeks before the Amelia case starts.Bookmarked by Kenzieu2

Summary
The two watch in horrified silence as this stranger punches his big brother across the jaw, sending him careening to the floor. He stays there, unmoving, for an agonizing, excruciating moment. Then this– this fucker drags Ry onto his knees and lances his fingers into his scalp, tugging him by the hair so that he has a good look at his face.
When he shoves Ryland’s head into the water basin, Colt starts seeing red.
He thinks about the last text Ry sent him. He thinks about the three dropped calls from last night. He thinks about someone hurting his brother—his brother—and suddenly he can’t breathe.
OR:
Ryland Grace and Colt Seavers have managed to move past the abusive tragedy of their upbringing. Despite all of it, they've found stability in each other, and are as close as a pair can be.
But what happens when Ryland suddenly disappears?
Colt must put everything he has on the line to save the only family he has left, and he's quickly running out of time. He's determined to bring his brother back home, even if it might be the end of him.
...And he's not the only one looking.

Summary
After a year of staying sober, March has a relapse. Things quickly spiral out of control.
In the end, it was just another thing to talk about when people asked. Now that—well, that was worth the risk. The way their eyes widened, clear with care and concern. How their voices were always hushed and cautious. Then if he was lucky, a hug. Someone who’d coddle him a little. Someone who’d listen with understanding. Yeah, that made it all worth it. He missed that gentle kind of affection. He missed getting it from his wife.

Summary
Rocky calls an intervention because Grace isn’t taking adequate care of his own reproductive needs. Witnessing the human ‘self-mating’ process unlocks some painful memories for the Eridian.
(My take on the “Grace is going to jack off on the trip to Erid at *some* point, right?” premise.)
