During an ill advised trip to the Hidden City below NYC, an oozesquito meets an unfortunate end and changes Donnie in more ways than one, forever impacting his universe.
"Donnie ghosted out a free hand, hovering it over the pale purple and striped feathers that mimicked the markings running down his biceps. Equally horrified and fascinated, he gingerly brushed the pads of his fingers over the wing, recoiling like the touch burned when he could feel both surfaces of contact simultaneously in a horrifyingly real fashion.
His eyes drifted to the intricacies of the feathers, the biologist in him appreciating the marvels of nature and the ingenious design and how they're structured. Can feathers and wings still function at this scale?"
Tldr: Donnie gets double mutated and tries to cope :D

Another TMNT as dragons Au! TADA!! All of the brothers have been inflicted by my hyperfixation and theyre now DRAGONS >:D
What if Draxum was a dragon nerd? What if he pulled a "jurassic park" move and brought back dragons from extinction, in his effort to create powerful weapons against mankind? In this AU, they follow a similar timeline of events that happen in the show, they still meet April, they still fight baddies, theyre just dragon shaped now!
In this universe, "true" dragons are almost entirely extinct, except for a few ancient individuals that are rumored (emphasis on rumor) to still exist. Draxum somehow obtained the dna from a living specimen, and used that in his experiments!
