Before Lucifer fell, he was best friends with a lower ranking angel. Alastor is bored and wants to mess with Vox's head. A simple deal, he'll indulge the pathetic crush with a few, presumably chaste, kisses. And Vox will owe him a bite of flesh for each one. The problem with this being, Alastor has no idea exactly how obsessed, and stubborn Vox is.

Vox has a bladder issue on a live broadcast, and is unfortunate enough that Alastor notices, and is in a very rare mood to play with the other man. Alastor is going to wring every drop of humiliation and blood out of the pathetic overlord as he can. And Vox will probably thank him for it.

CONTEXT: Alastor is deep in his rut, and Lucifer (who usually “handles” him) Is seeking a break this month. So, he asks Vox to fill in for him, who, of course, eagerly agrees… just that.... he isn't aware that Alastor completely loses control and goes full demon mode in this state.

Cole withdrew the mask from the chest. It looked something like the faces in Orlais, but upside down, covering the nose and mouth with old, well-oiled leather. He could see how it fit, straps above and below the ears, pulled taut with buckles at the back of the head. How many had worn, wished and wept with it clutching them so tightly. How the slip of leather over the mouth opened, revealed a wide metal ring. Clenched between teeth, it held one open for having.
