Summary
In more than one way, Kafka was a terrible girlfriend. To say she was unconventional is a severe understatement. She was calculating (to the point that one could call her manipulative). She had a biting tongue and didn't hold back in the slightest when spitting venom. She had a twisted sense of humor and would often scare Himeko on purpose, just to get a jump or a scream out of her. She hid her emotions behind layers and layers of walls, and you had to pry them apart with your bare hands, just to get a glimpse of her true feelings.
She never overstepped a boundary, but god, did she enjoy testing its limits, poking and prodding until Himeko wanted to grind her teeth to dust in frustration.
That was Kafka. Beautiful, terrible, and infuriating, Kafka.

Kafka saw the look in Stelle's eyes. She had chosen what to chase after, and Kafka knew it was her, and it made her smile. 'If Elio foresaw everything, then surely this was what he wanted to happen.' She told herself over and over and over again, holding it close to her heart as she continued, "That's the you I like."

“You’re looking cold, Silver Wolf.” Much to her chagrin, Kafka was almost unphased by the cold despite being just as close to the heater.
“Yeah, it’s freaking cold on the ice planet! Who would’ve guessed!”
She steps close to Silver Wolf, enough to be right next to her, before kneeling down and wrapping her arms around the surprised hacker, encircling her with warmth. One that’s unlike that from the heater, a loving warmth. To top it off she lays a small kiss on her cheek, practically making the shivering stop.
“Silver Wolf… you’re aware that I’m likely to punish you for that, right?” she whispers into her ear, making her shiver very differently.
