"Alone in a sea of sand, a monolith of a building rests atop a hill, cut out of sandstone. It’s packed with clays and muds inside, retaining any coolness accumulated from the relatively colder nights. There’s barely any windows, and a tall tower splits from the building’s middle. Atop the tower, at the very top, perches a blindingly red figure."
When Grian starts overheating, Scar gets worried. His wings look weird, and they need a preen. Grian needs some help reaching a spot, and they silently pine until one of them breaks an unspoken rule.

Grian presumed his soul was actively leaving his body – providing him with just another last minute delusion to take him into the next life - until he heard music.
His tired delusions were a lot of things, but they were never music.
Grian blinked, once, twice, then a third time. Still, the shape on the horizon didn’t fade. The light didn’t fade. The music didn’t fade. This wasn’t the blurry shadow of what may or may not be a rock, or the light of the moon against a wave imitating a town. This was a genuine miracle. This was his relief.

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Tommy blinks, dazed and confused. The sun is bright overhead and someone is speaking over a microphone. The voice is familiar, which makes sense since he was just hanging out with Tubbo, but the voice wasn't Tubbo so it shouldn't actually make sense.
There was a hand holding his, squeezing it tightly. Everything was bright and it hurt his senses, but his eyes were getting used to it quickly. He wasn't inside anymore, instead the bedroom walls had been switched with a courtyard of sorts. In front of him stood a tall podium, and on top of it-
Schlatt?!"
He never really thought about what it would be like if his roleplaying was real. What his character and his friends would be like if they had to fight in wars as children, kill to survive and prosper. It never crossed his mind, because the SMP was just a fun roleplay, nothing more, nothing less.
Once he does think about it, though, the horror of it finally sets in.Tommy and Tubbo are thrown into the SMP during the election. They don't like what they see, so they decide to change it. The question is, will they be able to?
