"Mister, please open your eyes again, we're gonna die out here if you don't open your eyes." She gently tapped his faced and pried open his left eye. His right eye was swollen shut and blood covered that side of his face in thick patches. He was barely breathing, crushed, and bleeding and they'd been stuck in the rain for what seemed like an eternity.
The rain had finally let up as the young woman tried desperately to wake him again. He'd said his name was Carter. She didn't know if that was his first name or his last name, but she knew he was in serious trouble.

Summary
Keith never really pictured himself as a virgin in his second year of college, but he figures he has as good an excuse as anyone. He’s a double major in physics and engineering, but now he’s actually a little glad he hasn’t had the opportunity to give himself to someone else yet. It’s just that… he still hasn’t given himself to Shiro either.

Summary
The unexpected pain catches Keith off-guard, and rather than landing safely on the other side, he tumbles down the hill, instinctively bringing his arms up to guard his head.
On the plus side, he’s made it down the hill in record time with no head injury, and he can no longer hear the footfalls trailing after him.
…but he’s paid for that win with the gouges he can now confirm are thoroughly marring his right hand and the sting along most of his left forearm. After he pauses for a shaky breath and brings himself to look at it, he sees how fast it’s leaking blood, staining the dirt beneath him. It’s most definitely not a “slap a band-aid on it and move on” kind of wound.

“After they captured him, the Galra tried to extract information from him. About the Blade, and about Voltron," Kolivan says, each word intoned by the healing pod's steady beeping; Keith's heartbeat. "He never spoke, as far as the other prisoners I interrogated could tell. On the last day, they said, before he lost consciousness, he only called out one word.”
Kolivan pauses, hesitates. Shiro’s heart squeezes into something small and tight. “What was the word?” he asks quietly, somehow already dreading the answer.
“It was your name, Shirogane.”
After one of Keith's Blade of Marmora missions goes wrong, Kolivan contacts Voltron for help. Shiro rushes to the rescue, determined to get Keith back to safety at all costs — and in the process, they come closer, and further apart, than they ever have.
