Prince Jungkook cannot imagine a worse way to spend the year than to be playing servant to the infamous Witch of Wraithwood. Summary
“Come on,” the alpha says. He tilts his head towards the water as Jimin gapes at him with fear in his eyes. “Get in.”
Tonight Jimin listens.
Whether because of the humid heat clouding the air or the insomnia induced delirium or something else entirely, Jimin's feet take tiny steps until he stands at the edge of the bath. The tip of his toes get dangerously close to dipping in, just needing to take one last step. The alpha’s eyes watch his every move, scanning down his body with rapt attention.
“Go on,” the alpha says, voice dripping with deep richness.
Jimin—for reasons he fails to understand—listens. His body carries him, slowly sauntering down the steps and into the hot water without thinking it over any longer. Something about it feels helpless and uncontrollable, making him itchy inside. He pushes it down.
“Good little omega.”
The alpha’s words make sparks tingle in his veins and acid climb up his throat, the conflicting combination of sensations confusing. He hates how something inside of him almost… likes it.
After being rescued from an oppressive pack with strict rules and outdated traditions, Jimin starts his life life anew in the Jeon pack.

The moment they make eye contact acts like a switch. Suddenly he’s surrounded by the rich and heady scent of black coffee and burning wood, laced with a spiciness that sends a wave of thick warmth through his lower belly. His knees go weak and his lips fall open, a whimper on the tip of his tongue, heat rising in his cheeks.

Jeongguk hums, pensive. “The toughest problems follow you anywhere you go, I suppose. The hardest part is always to start brand new, but then, step by step…” Jeongguk bends down to pick up a snowdrop and offers it to Jimin. “It gets better. Time is the greatest healer, or so they say.”
Jimin cradles the flower in his hand, such a tiny, tiny flower, with its candid white petals and emerald green leaves. Jeongguk’s irises are a beautiful shade of chestnut brown, and for a split second Jimin wonders if they could ever, ever be friends.

Jeongguk wants to try something a little unconventional for his end of the year art project. He wants to paint someone he's never seen using their own description of themselves. He likes the idea, but doesn't fancy trusting a stranger in his space, and nearly scraps the project, until Taehyung informs him he knows someone trustworthy who would be perfect.
Park Jimin is awkward but sweet. A specific kind of lovely that Jeongguk can't help but become enamoured with, and as he sketches and paints different renditions of a man he can only hear, but cannot see, he becomes increasingly eager for the day when he'll finally be able to take him in with his own eyes, positive that every version he's created on paper or canvas falls remarkably short.
