Summary
In the slums of Paris, France of 1910 the social hierarchy is strictly enforced. Alphas are on top. Betas, sit below them. Omega are on the bottom. Just like everywhere all across time and space. But there’s always other things. Native Parisians will never bow to foreigners. The rich rule the poor. Blood is everything at the end of the day.
Alpha Male Abraham Murphy - better known as Bram - knows his place in the workhouse is tenuous at best as an immigrant. He plans to keep his head down and mind his own business. Then a job from his boss hands him the fate of a someone even more helpless than him: an Omega Male and his three small children.
But this Omega Male turns out to be far from helpless. Bijou - the Omega is question - is filthy rich and wickedly resourceful. Still haunted by loss in his home country of Ireland, Bram wants the four out of way as soon as possible.
However, Bijou is the inherenter of an usual fortune. And Bram's sister, Willow - a practicer of magic - has a trick or two up her sleeves as well. Love, loss, and longing collide.

Todd Anderson knew all about shame. If there was one feeling that always returned to him like home, year after year as he got older, it was shame. Shame for feeling different. Shame for hardly being able to get a sentence out without stuttering. Shame for being inferior, inferior to Jeffrey.
A mostly canon-compliant DPS story, following the major events of the movie, but focusing more on the inner thoughts of characters (mostly Neil and Todd). Focuses on Neil and Todd's relationship, Todd's issues with anxiety, Neil's issues with depression and not being able to follow his own path.
