Summary
The forest was not kind. It had not been for many years.
But the Elves were immune to the barren pains of the Earth, to its laments and disappointments. Men were deaf to the nature that grew poisoned around them and their homeland. And Dwarrow had never had the chance to know the things that grew and ripened, fixed in their reverence for that which remained unchanged for centuries, and sometimes even longer.
The children of the Green Lady, however, were far more attuned to nature and to life.

Summary
After the Battle of Five Armies, Bilbo is imprisoned for his betrayal of dwarves. Convinced his dwarves have not forgiven him, Bilbo escaped back to the Shire and accepts that his adventure came to an end. The company, unaware of his arrest, eventually must accept that their burglar must have perished in the battle. A recreated mournful journey back to the Shire forces everyone to confront the past.

Great-aunt Pansy Baggins had claimed from the very beginning that nothing good would come from the marriage between the most respectable of the Baggins and the most rebellious of the Tooks. No one believed her when young Bilbo, born too soon and too weak to cry, survived his first weeks into the world.
They changed their mind when, at four years of age, Bilbo transmuted his mother’s cutlery into a flute and began to play the elven lullaby Belladonna sang for him every night.
It caused a scandal. For the Baggins side of the family, anyway. The Took side had a good laugh.
______________________________A Retelling of The Hobbit in which Bilbo is an Alchemist and uses it to help the Dwarves in their Quest. He doesen't always change Fate, but sometimes he does.

Bilbo drops the Ring. He's glad to be rid of it. It had gotten so heavy lately, so unevenly were his pockets weighted that sometimes he would even stumble a bit, and Frodo would ask after his health, and Bilbo would shoo him outside and inspect the golden gleam of the Ring in solitude. He's so glad it's gone, really.
No matter, he turns out the door of Bag End to begin the trek to Rivendell, eyes shut against the harsh light of the full moon.
When he opens his eyes into the moonlight, Bag End is nowhere to be found. He turns and turns and turns and only finds forest ahead of him and the exit of a stony tunnel behind. He's out of breath, though he hadn't been running before. His pockets are unevenly weighted once again.The One Ring realizes that once it gets into Frodo and the Fellowship's hands, the power of friendship will certainly win out. So instead, it timeloops Bilbo Baggins. He cannot drop The Ring, give it away, or die without resetting the loop.

Summary
During an ambush, Bilbo gets seriously injured but hides them from the company, fearing they would taunt him for it, especially Thorin. However after a while, it gets harder and harder to hide the wounds. The Company is not happy when it finally comes to alight that something is most definitely wrong with their Burglar.
The life of Bilbo Baggins is ticking away and the dwarves are cracking under the pressure. Levels of trust are tested and stretched to the limit. Gandalf had always been right.
Bilbo will certainly never be the same Hobbit he once was.(This fic will be a Multi-Chapter Ending, one with Major Character Death as well a continuation of the fic. Just a warning, there's going to be a whole lot of feels.)
