Summary
As a joke, Porsche buys those toys you throw into the water and they grow, two "grow a boyfriend" ones. He doesn't expect one to actually become a human and go after Porchay, but he seems sane enough
–until he joins the main family and helps Porsche snoop around and uncover secrets about them.
Kim was created with the intention of staying with Porchay no matter what. So, when he finds out there's an underground criminal empire with classified files on Porchay and his brother–he figures its his business to get to the bottom of it.
All while ensuring Porchay doesn't know about this and is kept safe.
Porchay is mildly confused as to when and where Kim is going to get an expensive guitar, clothing, and a sudden music career, though...
Pete is gifted the second Grow-a-boyfriend, and if he didn't believe Porsche about these being sentient first; he sure does now.

Tankhun waves a dismissive hand in Porsche's face, huffing at the sheer audacity of the man's suggestion. His little brother…have some sort of condition. As far as Kinn, Tankhun, and Kim himself know; Kim didn't have any sort of conditions.
“A little?” Porsche raises an eyebrow, unimpressed by Tankhun's words. He doesn't like being dismissed.
Tankhun lowers the lip-shaped glasses, looking at Porsche as he waits for the man to speak. He gives a simple, quick upwards nod that indicates Porsche is allowed to continue.
“Look at him,” Porsche says softly, almost pleading, “all I'm asking is to use your sources and to get Kim screened.”
