Summary
The TARDIS needs new parts. The Doctor takes Rose on an errand to get more. The asteroid they travel to, Nine-Minus, is inhabited by a peaceful, remote community of laboratory scientists--humans, flung far from home and settled peacefully in a new galaxy with their alien neighbours.
Excitement is thick in the air: they have developed a new breakthrough in agricultural science that could be a game-changer for the other asteroid outposts in their solar system. The pair soon realise that there is something off about this whole situation. Alien meddling might be afoot. Will Rose and the Doctor get to the core of this rotten apple, or has it already taken root in the minds of too many?

Summary
While half (slightly more than half) of his citizens are quite happy with their decision to stay in the United Kingdom, Scotland himself was not one of them. It really isn't the vote's fault- he's been depressed for years beforehand. It might give him a tiny nudge over the edge, though. Good thing Ireland is there to pull him back.
Or, Scotland attempts suicide. Ireland saves him. Their POVs flip-flop throughout the story, but it's mostly Alba.
(I was called into the school counselor's office because they found this story in my online documents. What can I say? I liked to work on it during school, and besides, she really loved the story.) -

Summary
He preferred drowning to this, honestly. At least drowning was muffled, distanced from the life above, unlike the feeling of rawness, of sterility that came with fluorescent lights and clacking heels and keyboard clicking, the scent of perfume with every person that passed by, the talking and talking and talking and—
“Are you okay?”
He wanted to ram his head into a wall.
“‘M fine,”

Summary
“Oh, House,” Wilson gasps.
House bristles at the stricken tone, even as his cheeks warm with his friend’s concern. He just knows Wilson is giving him that stupid kicked puppy look, and it’s a shame he has no cane to smack it off his face.
Still, he agrees with the sentiment. ‘Oh, House,’ indeed. Even in his current state, the raw implications of two broken arms on a cripple are harrowing.

Summary
Rose Tyler is left frustrated and angry with her life in the months following her separation from the Doctor and her life on the TARDIS.
She came to Broadchurch for a bit of soul-searching, coastal air, and a chance to figure out who she is without a certain time-travelling alien and his stupid blue box. What she didn’t count on was a murder, a town full of nosy locals, and a grumpy, sharp-eyed detective who looks far too much like someone she’d rather not think about and has hair she doesn't care for.
Rose wants a fresh start. Broadchurch gives her DI Hardy. Close enough?
