Summary
Maya, a deeply private person amongst her friends and colleagues, is a frequent at lesbian sex parties. Contains descriptions of suicidal thoughts, disordered eating behavior, panic attacks and therapy sessions, but overall it's a story of a woman fighting her demons and having the support of the love of her life throughout it.

At times that can be a loaded question...and one that more often than
not the question is better left unanswered...nearly every mother/father/
other caregiver advises their charges that 'violence is not the answer'-that
vengeance is best left to the proper authorities and that 'being the bigger
person' is what we should all strive to...I don't disagree, though in these
chapters everyday people make the fateful choice to exact punishment for
