Summary
When Calista Ellington is sent to live with an estranged relative who's name she doesn't even know, she wonders what it is that made the Captain agree. No one seems to know anything about him but to her parents, his days in the army can guarantee them the strict warden they're looking for to give her the proper discipline they've been desperate for.
Or
When the Captain's cousin reaches out and asks him to look after their child for a while, he's unsure why he agrees.
He has no experience with children after all, but apparently it's discipline they're after, rather than the kindness of a father figure, and thanks to his army days he's got discipline and leadership skills by the bucket load.
But Calista arrives, and is nothing like he expected. She may be short-tempered and argumentative and unapologetically...different in a way that makes him nervous for reasons he can't quite pin down, but besides that, he's unsure why exactly she's been sent to him.
Maybe, just maybe, this will be a learning opportunity for both of them.

Beating Gerrard was only the end of a chapter for the pack. Scott, Stiles, Derek, Malia, Lydia and Liam have moved to Los Angeles, looking for endangered supernaturals, and for three years after successfully trapping the "Anuk-ite" that has been their only concern.
They’ve settled into a steady routine where they need to fight extremist groups and out of control supernaturals from time to time. But they know oh so well not to sleep too comfortably on their two ears, because a new chapter was only a page away.
They’d already faced a vengeful wolf, a kanima, a nogitsuné and a number of other threats, so the question remains: what new calamity is on the horizon?Series

Summary
Button House, Surrey. An ex-Army captain with a mysterious past moves into a flat in a once-grand estate. His new neighbours certainly seem determined to keep life interesting…
(An AU (ish?) in which everyone’s a real live modern human, the house has been divided into flats, and things get a bit metaphysical. Oh, and there’s Twister.)
