Hallucination, right? Has to be. But then Stoick pressed his axe close enough to graze the bottom of Hiccups chin and nope, nope, not a hallucination. “I— I don’t understand.”
“Did the dragon get you? Have you seen it?”
“Dragon,” Hiccup repeated numbly. Dragon. He knew that word. Definitely knew it. It sure sounded familiar. “Dr—Dragon! The dragon. Right, um, yes, right, uh— Yellow scales, four wings… that dragon?”
“Are there other dragons about?” It wasn’t a rhetorical or teasing question, but a man asking how many enemies were around him.
“No, uh. No. I just… I saw it crash into the ground and— wait, you crashed with it?” Hiccup suddenly realized. “What were you doing with that dragon?!”
Stoick leaned back from Hiccup just long enough to raise his axe. “What do you think I was trying to do, boy?”

When the smoke faded, it reveals another group of young adults, who strangely enough look like the young vikings!
What follows are laughs and tears as the time-displaced vikings attempt to figure out how to return to their original time, while avoiding changing things too drastically. Just another day in Berk...

Then, he stole Toothless as a method of transportation and intimidation, leaving Hiccup and his allies grounded. For all he knew about dragons, even Hiccup could never have predicted what came next.

Can Hiccup still bring peace between Vikings and Dragons now that the only person who can see and hear him is the one responsible for his death?Also, no graphic death - but kinda necessary for the whole ghost thing to happen.

The demon raised his fiery sword up and swung it in a circle showing it off. No sound was made, not from him anyways. A deep growl sounded from behind him as the black beast crawled out of the shadows, the scales on his black glowing a brilliant blue. It was the only thing giving the dragon away. Stoick knew this was a dangerous game. The demon was clever, so he wouldn’t give away his position if he didn’t want to.
“What do you want?” Stoick asked as he gripped his axe handle, his knuckles turning white.
“I want Berk to Burn.”
