Summary
Viktor owes his old friends Vander and Silco a lot. But taking on the care of the badly abused young omega that Vander won in a card game is a hell of a lot to ask. They might owe Viktor, for this.
Still, Viktor isn't the kind of alpha who can turn away anyone in need, and Jayce is very much in need, so Viktor resigns himself to hosting a long-term guest and enduring his own personal hell in the form of a stunningly beautiful, sweetly-scented omega that he would have to be some kind of monster to even think about touching.
Even as Jayce begins to heal with the help of Viktor and his friends in the community, Viktor knows that the omega is destined for better things than an old, lame alpha with no real status to speak of.
Jayce—eventually—thinks otherwise.

"Then I don't care," the man outstretched a hand, long, delicate fingers catching Jayce's attention for a beat too long before he realizes he has to be normal and actually shake the man's hand, "it's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Talis. I'm Viktor. Welcome to Piltover's Equestrian Team."
Wide eyed and shaken, Jayce takes up Viktor's hand with his own clammy paw.
"Charmed."---
The good news? Jayce Talis has finally been accepted onto Piltover Academy's Equestrian Team.
Bad news? He might be totally head over heels for his student trainer.(Or, a completely self-indulgent Arcane Equestrian!au that absolutely no one asked for, except for me. Actually, I begged myself for it.)

Whatever you do, he’ll be terrified."It's been a year since the attack on the Council, since Jayce's life was forever changed. Both Piltover and Zaun have managed to move forward, towards a better future, and whilst Jayce is proud of the progress everyone else has made, he can't help but feel a little left behind. A visit to a struggling Omega Rescue Shelter, and an encounter with one of their longest residents might be what he needs to get his gears in motion.
