Truthfully, perhaps when the festers of his guilt become less potent- he doesn’t want to become yet another detail in Achilles' own- He’d already become an outcast from his now faint memories of Opus, a mere companion, a therapon, or truthfully just an erastes of someone great, to someone of greater renown. No lustrous gold adorned his existence; he lacked the brilliance that adorned Achilles, leaving him with naught to offer. But if a son were to be born of him, perhaps even an exile like him could sire greatness in his death.

Summary
Agamemnon of Mycenae was his father's greatest disappointed when he was born an Omega. Atreus, in all his power, went to great lengths to ensure his son's status was never known, and Agamemnon has lived his whole life as a Beta.
Witnessing the murder of Prince Troilus in Troy at the hands of the feral and deranged Achilles puts the ever-present danger of Agamemnon's existence into sharp relief mid-way through the war. Agamemnon is plagued with visions of the boy's death and desecration at the same time as he is forced to continue working with Achilles if he has any hope of winning this accursed war.
Prince Hector is not helping Agamemnon's conflicted feelings. Hector, following his discovery of Agamemnon's secret, quickly becomes the Achaean general's rock, his confidant, his lover. Hector becomes everything to this broken man, despite being the one thing he cannot have.
It's too bad Achilles finds a way to take even that away from him as he grows closer to Agamemnon's secrets.

Summary
The passage of time in war was an ambiguous and almost deceptive affair.
After the first few years, the days had begun to overlap with each other. There were no more dates to mark, no more anniversaries to look forward to. Only a stubbornly repeating present, which made the idea of months seem theoretical rather than real.Everyone obviously noticed the arrival of winter, just as everyone perceived the arrival of summer with its sometimes annoying humidity. But even that changing of seasons, as the years passed, seemed to have lost its meaning. It was no longer a cycle, just a habit.
Yet, there were still events that made the passage of time impossible to ignore, in fact Patroclus understood that he had entered the month of Poseideon when he noticed the first, slight change in Achilles' attitude.

It would be a great idea if he wasn't married to a Naiad, a species that seems to bring out the absolute worst in any Nereid they meet. Hopefully Patroclus will be able to prevent an international incident before the war has even begun.

Summary
When Patroclus died, Achilles’ scream cracked the gates of the Underworld. Even in death, he shook the foundations of the abyss, his soul bleeding with grief as he searched for his beloved.
Tired of the noise, Hades strikes a bargain with the Fates to fix the mess. He pulls Patroclus from Asphodel and throws him back to the beginning.
But Hades doesn't give gifts for free. He strips Patroclus of his warmth and fills the hole with the cold, hollow darkness of the Pit."The sun took you from him once," Hades whispers into his soul. "Do not let him walk in the light again. Keep him in your shadow, and he will never scream again."
Patroclus was a gift pulled from the grave, one Achilles should not have accepted. The face was the same but the eyes held something darker, something he could not name. He moved with an unnatural grace and loved with a ferocity that made it feel as if he would rather see the world end than let Achilles reach for his armor again.

Ant slowly peeled open his eyes. The room was bright. Sir had replaced the candle, finally. It was nice to be able to see again.
Sir was sitting next to his head, a warm smile on his face. The warmth didn’t reach his eyes. Ant blinked at him, then slowly rolled onto his stomach and pulled his limbs close to his body. He didn’t know what Sir had planned. He didn’t like that Sir had woken him up nicely.
