Summary
Careless Cycles, once a forced champion of many rings, now spends his time teaching little orphans the art of boxing, something the ringmaster often criticised him about back in the old cycles, but finds himself unable to shake off the feeling of emptiness residing within his chest.
Yes, he had everything in the world, a roof over his head, something to eat and drink, an old passion for sport and a purpose, even if those little goods of life were usually interrupted by rowdy fans or die hard haters getting their hands somewhere where they were not supposed to be or the occasional night with the ringmaster.
He had no reason for thinking such awful things, but then why did he think about them in the first place?
Maybe the fisherman in a boat might know the answer.
(The scug characters are mostly my friend's ocs since we both made this AU up but I will focus mostly on my ocs since I don't want to use their work as mine because their stories are theirs and I respect that. Anyhow, here's a short chapter that was supposed to be a one shot about gay men finding eachother and becoming dads. Also fair warning I know jack shit about boxing and also I think this is kinda a short slow burn, enjoy!)

A what if about the great problem being solved by Pebbles, and Hara casually finds out that it was never meant to be solved one faithful cycle while going on an expedition with a few of his peers to retrieve a radio silent moon, now it is questionable if they will ever get out of there alive with their sanity in tact.
(DISCLAIMER! Please for the love of GOD don't read this without checking the tags, there is so much gore and violence and physical and mental torture it's horrendous. The last chapters will be based off dementia and Alzheimer's, hell even my own experiences so BEWARE. This REALLY gets dark for some people. English ain't my first language so don't mind any mistakes!)
