Summary
“Hyunjin is dead,” Jeongin breathed. He looked up to see the others stare back at him with wide eyes, Hyunjin towering over them at the back, the light from the window in the hallway lighting up his figure. “They told me he was dead.”
Hyunjin's dark eyes found Jeongin’s tearful ones.
“Not dead,” Hyunjin said with a poisonous smile. “Just gay.”
Or: Jeongin has spent years mourning the loss of his first love, a love he was told by his church was sinful and wrong, but one he just couldn't stop from blooming in his chest. Now, years later, Jeongin meets Hyunjin again, very alive and also very different from how he used to be back in their shared church.

“For God's sake, Keiji, stop filing your nails just for the effect – they're already manicured to perfection. You're gonna ruin them!”
Akaashi finally looked up, still with a scowl on his face, but he slapped the nail file onto the table in defeat and crossed his arms.
“Thank you!” Tsukishima sighed. “Now can we please brainstorm for a solution?”
“Well, we obviously can't keep her,” said Akaashi. “We know nothing about old people!”
“She's not a pet,” said Kuroo, at the same time as Bokuto cried out that he literally worked at an old people's home.
“Yeah,” said Tsukishima. “I wonder for how much longer.”

Summary

Tsukishima had heard it all by the time he started high school, his own soul mark had been a topic for gossip all his life with its elegant design and multiple motifs. Having three soulmates wasn’t unheard of but with his salty personality most couldn’t believe there were three people out there meant for him. But they were, his skin didn’t lie and neither did the universe.
So when he finally met them only for his mark to begin to fade, Tsukishima started to believe that yes, the universe never lied, but maybe it liked to play with the hearts of those unwanted.
