Summary
Izzy Hands goaded the Kraken back to life and then had to live with the consequences. While none of his crew got through unscathed, Izzy's life was torn to shreds by the very monster he'd unleashed.
When the Kraken is killed, the revenge is left to drift aimlessly through the seven seas for weeks before the Gentleman Pirate makes his triumphant return. Nobody can believe what has been happening aboard The Revenge in their absence; but more unbelievable is the way that their old friends have rallied around the insufferable Izzy Hands.
(Kind of a reimagining of what post kraken life might have been like, if there had been weeks between the first few episodes)

Summary
Stede walks Ed back to his quarters, Ed’s arm slung over his shoulders. He can feel the heat radiating off of him, can smell the deep warmth of his jacket and his skin.
They don’t talk much as they walk. Ed had laughed when Stede stabbed him, had coached him through pulling the sword free, and then he’d gone silent. Stede was expecting jokes, or at least reassurance that he was fine, but when Stede asked, all he got was a small, tight nod.
The silence is companionable, at least. Stede isn’t going to break it.

Summary
Edward and most of the crew need to leave for two weeks, so Ed decided to leave Stede in the care of his old friend Calico Jack- Spoiler alert, Stede is not well cared for.
Instead, Calico Jack uses Stede as a hostage for himself and Ned Low to get revenge of blackbeard.
(This story won't be updated for the next week or two while my exams are on! But I'll be back to this fic after there finished!)

Summary
'The door is locked and though with Stede he’d knock, Ed spares Izzy the effort of getting up by letting himself in.
“Just me,” he announces, not too loudly. “Thought you might need a drink—“
“Just you…” Izzy steps out of the bathroom, hands scrubbed clean, face still made up. “No need. Plenty of liquor in here.”
The contrast of glittering eyelids and painted lips against Izzy’s usual outfit – the rose at his lapel a new addition – perfumes the room with a dreamlike strangeness. Lit only by low burning candles, darkness clings to the corners, soft light erasing the years. Shadows drape long and lazy over dog-eared furniture as Izzy drums his way over to lean at the door.
The rum exchanges hands, thrown back in one, the rim of the tin cup left pink.
Ed wets his lips, gulps. “You okay?”'

A rewrite of Calypso's birthday.
Or, Ed doesn't think Ned Low is worth the poison of killing him. Stede doesn't get the chance to lose his 'amateur status'. But Izzy stops bottling it up. Though he should give him a minute, Ed still goes the Captain's cabin. And there's still more than a kiss.

Summary
Ed looks down at himself. He’s dressed in soft clothes. He recognizes Stede’s breeches and linen shirt from the first day. White stockings and no shoes. The black cravat is tied loosely around his neck.
“Edward.”
Ed looks up. It’s Stede, standing not far from the bed nook, wearing one of his fancy teal suits and smiling softly, his eyes sparkling in the low light of the lamps.
Ed wants to scream. He wants to throw up. Or hide. He wants to stab Stede in the guts.
He doesn’t do any of that. Instead, he rushes into Stede’s arms, which wrap around him tightly. He buries his face in Stede’s shoulder as he kisses the top of Ed’s head.
“I missed you,” Ed says.
“I missed you, too. I’m here now. Shh, I’m here.
It’s a dream. No way in hell this is real. But Ed doesn’t care.

During his Kraken Era, Ed finds a magic ring that shows him visions of Stede. As the days pass and his sadness grows, Ed tries to figure out how he can make the visions permanent.
One way or another, Ed can't live like this anymore.
