Summary
After 130 years, Baldur’s life as a royal advisor suddenly takes a turn for the worst; after being chased out of the city he had called home until then and botching an ancient spell, he finds himself in a strange world with the knight Earl, who might just be his least favorite person. Summary
Rogers had this great idea to bring together the Avengers and some of their regular “consultants” (namely Stephen and Peter) for a weekend of team bonding. Apparently, they were supposed to spend their time out in the woods, learning more about each other and building trust. Or some bullshit like that.
Stephen was actually not completely against the idea until Rogers added the caveat that there was to be no usage of weapons, suits, or most importantly, powers.
Everyone readily agreed, leaving Stephen greatly outnumbered. But, he figured not too many people had to use their powers or tech just to function most days.
OR
Stephen struggles to keep his chronic pain a secret on a team bonding trip with no magic allowed.

Summary
When Rocky wakes up after Adrian, he's relieved they're both alive, but immediately knows that something is off with Grace. He's having trouble breathing, sleeping a lot, and spiking fevers. As much as Grace wants to blame it on lung irritation from the ammonia in Rocky's atmosphere, Rocky knows he's downplaying it, and it's not going to work.
However, before he can actually do anything about it, the ship's power goes out. Taumoeba have gotten into the fuel and eaten all the astrophage, leaving them with no choice but to steal from the beetles.
Which are on the outside of the ship.
Which means two EVAs and a lot of lab work for Grace, all while his condition declines from what's quickly turning into a serious health problem. All Rocky can do is make sure he has what he needs and try to take care of him as best he can from afar, hoping they can get to safety before Grace's health is too fragile to recover.Bookmarked by LousPrisoner
