"Harry honestly thought that after finally getting rid of Voldemort he would get to feel normal again, but if he had had a minute to stop and think, instead of rushing from critical to life and death situations, he would have realized how naive that was. And not only because all his life he had been functioning in survival mode."
Where Harry finally has time to get to know himself, he goes at it the same way he always had, by sneaking around and eavesdroping. He just never expected that at the same time Charlie decided that enough was enough, Percy deserved to be vindicated.
So each night Harry sneaks in while Charlie drags a sibling or two to a Midnight Kitchen Dressing Down, and if Dumbledore's bigoted manipulations unravel, all the better. Because seriously, Voldemort was evil because he was born without the capacity to love? He was a genocidal maniac and he still loved himself and his snake with the intensity of a fiery star.
This will be mostly dialogue, not Dumbledore or Weasley Parents friendly and fully in favor of asexuality, trans people and the ace spectrum.

Summary
In a forgotten corner in the NYI there's a pile of what people usually would call junk. Just a stack of broken things, leftover of raids of Downworlders Homes during the Uprising. But for a 4 year old Alec, that is a treasure. And the more he cherishes it, the more the residual magic stored in these objects infuse, change and teach him. Letting him see the world in a different way, leading him into wanting to create a more just world for all, but also to having the biggest crush on a certain High Warlock.
But it all turns against Alec when, right in the middle of dealing with the redheaded menace that's havocking chaos in his life, he finally meets THE Magnus Bane, just for the man to hate him, and blame him for all the messes that keep popping up. It's not his fault that Magnus' Magic likes him, recognizing its own echoes deeply stored in him, making the man distrust him even more.

Thinking back, Alec can see how willing Magnus was to include him in his culture. To open himself up like that, risking being unjustly judged by someone he cared about, just in the hope that Alec would treat this gift with care. And his wonderful warlock had enough trust, enough faith in him, that he wouldn't do something like laugh along with Jace's comment about eating like a Caveman. But he proved him so wrong, just laughing along with the others at what he saw as his parabatai just goofing around, unknowingly hurting and disrespecting the man he loves.

Where Alec and Magnus's Indonesian Date is the wonderful culmination of learning how to communicate better, and open up to each other, even with those parts one is used to keep hidden.

Summary
Alec Lightwood has four siblings. 2 by blood, Isabelle and Max, one by adoption, Jace, and one from his father's second marriage, Regina. So he has 2 step-siblings, and 2 that treat him as less than a servant. A step-mother and father that despise him and a Fairy Godmother that's set on getting him to the Ball and dance with the Princess. He wishes him being gay was the only problem in this situation, but there's also the fact that his Fairy Godmother is a gorgeous sparkling man that he's instantly infatuated with. There's also some weird magical dealings between this man and his family, and that Prince Charming is butting into this whole mess.
“What? You don’t want to go to the ball? Wasn’t that what you were wishing for just now?”, asks Magnus
“Yes, it’s been my dream, forever and ever. I sing about it every morning as birds help me with my morning routine”, deadpans Alec.
Magnus shrugs and replies, “Well, you know what they say, a dream is a wish your heart makes”
“And who are ‘they’?”, asks Alec, unimpressed.
“You know, people”, replies Magnus, but then turns serious and asks, “You really don’t want to go? To have at least one night when you can just be, and just enjoy?"

Summary
