Summary
Lilith looked over her shoulder. There was a hollow in the trunk of the tree just next to her. The head and neck of a white serpent was hanging out of it, looking directly at her. It had rosy little cheeks, bright violet eyes, and it was wearing a tiny top hat. For a moment, Lilith felt a strange flutter in her chest area. The little creature actually seemed quite cute.
Then the damned thing spoke.
“Nice to meet you!” it said with a toothy grin. “You’re Lilith, right? I’m Lu–”
“AAAAAGH!!!”
In the beginning, an angel fell in love with a human woman. Constrained by a cosmos determined to keep them apart, the angel will do anything to break his bonds to be with the woman he loves… even if it means dooming all of existence.
This story was written as a prequel to Angel in Hell, but it can be read on its own. Third installment The Final Soul now live.
