Shane can’t remember exactly how it happened. Not when. Not what was said. Not even the moment that became the spark before it fell into something liquid.
Maybe it was the joke about taking off the All-Star pressure. Maybe Scott said it. Maybe Ilya. Or maybe it was the moment Shane didn’t back off, the way he inhaled instead of exhaling at how hot they were. Whatever it was, it carried them on and through until there was no thought of stopping.
They had met at Ilya’s door after the night event, Scott with that grin on his face that was pure trouble and matched the one on Ilya’s face. And as soon as the deadbolt clicked, there was skin and hands. Shirts pulled loose, slipping down shoulders and thighs. Mouths on every scrap of skin they could reach. Shane thinks he remembers breathing. Maybe even walking. Before he was pressed into the back of the couch, he was trapped by sheer body weight from both sides. Scott on one side of him and Ilya on the other.
