All his life Bakugou has tried to protect himself from pain, hurt and assumptions. He doesn't know how to receive care and love, nobody ever taught him. He's an asshole and he knows it, but he is trying to change; trying to let people in. He just wants to be seen, to be heard, to be loved.

Summary
"I promise I will not tell anyone else about what happens in this room tonight." Tim swears, raising his hand like he's making a pledge, "Regardless of whether or not I choose to accept and/or enact your proposed plan."
"Ok great!" Kon grinned wide and bright before something nervous caught in it. Barely a moment later he smoothed it out again, flipped to the second page of his presentation, and announced, "I think we should have a friends with benefits arrangement."
Regardless of whether or not he'd previously agreed to hearing Kon's proposal out, he could not have possibly stopped the knee jerk, "Absolutely not." From leaving his mouth.
"You promised!" Kon accused, pointing a finger at him, "You said you'd hear me out properly."

Or, Tim and Kon engage in the weirdest game of platonic gay chicken the world has ever seen.

Yes, Tim Drake Wayne was going to start living with his best friend, the one he's had the biggest crush on for God knows how long, and it's all his fault.

Summary
Superboy hadn’t died in a fight, nor in a heroic way, he died from a deadly virus, alone and forgotten by everyone, in a hospital.
However, he wakes up- wakes up in the past, once again inside the Cadmus laboratory, when he’s freed by Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash. Again… locked up again… destined once more to be used as a weapon… destined once more to die alone.
So when they escape the facility this time, Superboy decides to leave before they can stop him before Superman arrives, before he can be hurt again, before everything repeats.
Superboy no longer wants to be a hero. He wants to live, to be a person, to have a family and now, he will choose his own destiny under the name Conner.
