Summary
Chloe Decker is Chloe Morningstar, Queen of Hell, now, and it's a lot to take in. Chloe is adjusting to her new existence and trying to convince her husband, Lucifer Morningstar, that she's happy in Hell with him and with their work. But not everyone is happy that a "human" has become the Queen of Hell, and one demon is determined to make sure Chloe doesn't stay on her throne, so he enlists the help of a former foe to keep Chloe from Lucifer.

In season 3, episode 21, "Anything Pierce Can Do, I Can Do Better," both Lucifer Morningstar and Marcus Pierce rush to Chloe Decker's apartment for one last attempt to win her back.
Pierce arrives first, and Lucifer can only watch through a window as Pierce proposes and Chloe accepts.
Unless ... Lucifer got there first? And had a chance to say a few important things before the other man barged in?
He's promised to tell Chloe the truth. How will she handle celestial revelations, a jackass of an ex, too much coffee, not enough sleep, and Pierce's secrets and lies? (Probably with Maze's tequila.)

“Did you mean it?” Lucifer asks. The Detective doesn’t look at him. “When you said that we could still work together?”
She nods. Her eyes dart to his and away again. “I did.”
“And the truth doesn’t frighten you anymore?” He means to ask it lightly, but as soon as the words are out of his mouth they dent her floor like bricks.
Her jaw tightens. For a second they stare into each other’s eyes, and then she walks away, towards the door in the living room. “Come on,” the Detective says.
Like pulled by a string, Lucifer follows.
