Summary
Peter Parker is a self sacrificing teenager. 14 with dead parents, dead uncle, and now a dead aunt. Foster care is rough, rougher than being Spider-Man ever was. With his friends ignored, and almost total isolation Peter Parker assures himself that he mustn't be the only Parker left.
But he's not even a Parker.

He deserves to know that he has a child out there.Peter pushes down the whimper he feels at the man’s expression. It changed from assessment to pity in an instant. “Hello Mr. Matt Murdock! In college you had relations with a certain Mary Fitzpatrick, later renamed Mary Parker.”
Matt’s grip tightens on the desk he was lax resting against. He swallows thickly.
“She had a son. And uh.. Might be fifteen years late on the announcement but um..” Peter shuffles awkwardly. “Hi, I'm Peter Parker, and I'm pretty sure you're my dad.”

Summary
Peter unscrewed the cap to his medication and downed the pills dry as he rolled his eyes. He didn't know why he even took the medication still, he was Spider-man for crying out loud. The medication probably didn't even work because of his spider metabolism. After the bite all his problems like asthma and needing glasses went away, so his epilepsy that he had been diagnosed with pre-bite should be cured as well. Maybe it was his nerves or maybe it was just habit, but he continued to take his medication as to not disturb the force.
Peter was diagnosed with epilepsy on his 12th birthday after having a second seizure following his first a week earlier. After a couple months they found a medication that worked and he only had five breakthrough seizures since being put on the medication.
