Closer to death, the veil between physical and spiritual thins and Adam can now see his guardian angel for the first time. Summary
Lute reluctantly attends Adam’s Extermination after-party, annoyed by the chaos and his carefree attitude. Despite her resistance, Adam’s playful teasing and banter draw her in, leading to a game of spin the bottle. When the bottle lands on her, they end up in “7 minutes in heaven.” What starts as lighthearted turns into an unexpectedly intimate and emotional encounter, leaving Lute profoundly changed when they return to the group.
