So when the chance of escaping into the forest was given, they gave it a shoot, what could go wrong?

Wilbur had only been a police officer for about a year now, and he'd already seen a lot of weird shit. People dying because off ice cream, breaking into a house just to have some coffee, hell even someone stealing a fucking cheese grater from olive Garden.
But never in his wildest imagination could he have expected a burglar doing crimes, for the sole purpose of getting his attention.

Summary
[I gave up on writing the whole story, so the rest is half written stuffs. Chapters 1-9 are full, but beyond that is notes and snippets]
In a world of heroes and villains, there are two young men with weights far too heavy on their shoulders.
Quackity is a hero... intern. He is a young man in his last year of the hero academy and he is ready to go put into the world to help people. He hasn't had the easiest of lives, which is why he's so dedicated to doing good. He wants to make sure no one has to hurt like he did. However, during his internship he meets a villian that makes him wonder if the heroes really are the good guys. What happens when a hero realizes how the cards someone is dealt shapes them, and how his world is playing by unfair rules?
Wilbur is a villain. He steals to survive and he burns to feel alive. He keeps many secrets. Even from the few people he cares about; his brother tommy, his fellow villains, and the boy he meets at the animal shelter, who despite all odds, has wiggled his way into the villains heart. But what happens when he is offered a deal he cannot refuse, and his lies all come falling down upon him like a house of cards?

Quackity took it in for a moment.But only for a moment.
Because slowly, anger boiled up his throat.Quackity looked down, chuckling. “Apologize?”
“Yeah, I-”
“APOLOGIZE?” Quackity's hand shot up to grab Wilbur’s shirt, his face painted in pure rage.
The taller stumbled backward in surprise, looking down at Quackity in shock.“After all of-” Quackity waved in the direction of the burger van. “THIS?”

Summary
Wilbur Soot was basically a walking corpse, who somehow managed to seem alive. Even if he didn’t exactly feel like his heart was beating, that didn’t mean it wasn’t. Was it?
Quackity was the shell of a man who had so many aspirations. Las Nevadas was his biggest accomplishment. There was no way he would spare time for Wilbur.
Together, they could easily crush foes, but they spend too much time bickering and arguing to realize that. Such as life.

A fanfic I made based on the new Lovejoy EP, because all I hear is C!TNTDuo canon divergence timeline, and a QSMP headcanon, and I’m proud to say this fanfic made the song Warsaw a common tag (plus adding some of the other WU&IO song tags)
