Summary
There's little time in a Laplacer's schedule to fit all 12 hugs supposedly necessary for proper growth, even less so when you're handling the work of a director. Adler will find that he, antisocial and isolated as he is, will still cave to the familiar warmth of human touch...
Or perhaps... Awakened touch?
Or; 5 times Ulrich, accidentally or not, touches Adler not only metal on skin, but into the churning and opposing currents of nihilism and perseverance, and asks to be let in. And 1 time Adler reaches for his hand.
OR; 6 one shots I've decided could string together a narrative. Don't worry im just as confused as you are. In reality this fic is just me trying to understand Enigma as a character and his struggles.

Summary
"It was when he was five minutes away from locking up that the door opened, a gust of wind and rain breaking through the shop until the door closed. Wolfwood cursed, closing his eyes and wondering why people decided last minute to browse fucking books of all things. He was about to tell the customer that they were actually closing but stopped when he realised who entered.
Vash pulled his red hoodie down, shaking his head and trying to fluff up his wet hair. He looked like he was going to shake the rain off like a damn dog, but then remembered he was in a bookshop and stopped, grinning sheepishly at the unimpressed clerk.
“Hey, Nick!” He greeted with a wave of his prosthetic, bounding over to the counter where Wolfwood stood. His glasses fogged and he frowned, before taking them off and giving them a wipe."
or
Retail AU where Vash works in a clothing shop across from Wolfwood's bookstore, and Wolfwood, contrary to belief, is a sappy romantic.

Summary
Obi-Wan is a famous actor who pretends to be someone else when he plays as a Jedi in the online MMORPG "War of the Stars". Qui-Gon Jinn is one of the oldest Youtube stars Obi-Wan has ever seen. And Obi-Wan has a huge crush on him. He also has a huge crush on JedMaverick, his Guild Leader from "War of the Stars". No one really needed to know about either of his little crushes. Too bad his best friend, Anakin Skywalker, already knows.

Now it was Obi-Wan’s turn to blink in surprise. “My… my husband?” he stuttered, not sure if he had heard correctly. At Qui-Gon’s nod, he let out a shaky breath. “We are truly married?” It sounded too good to be true… any why could he not remember something as important as that?

Summary
Valkyries do not cry.
And aside from a single tear, the one in his arms doesn’t either. He had stolen Lagertha from the All Father himself, and he had taken her wings when he made her his wife. She gave up immortality to be with him because she had wished to know the thing the humans called love. Odin had warned her of the pain that comes with it, but she had still made the choice, because she had felt she was in love already.
This is what happens when a Valkyrie falls in love with a mortal man.
