Summary
Buck falls asleep on the living room couch, and Eddie decides to be nice and let him sleep, not wanting to disturb his peaceful slumber. He covers him with a blanket before heading to the bedroom and going to sleep himself, which would normally be perfectly fine.
However, at approximately 5am, Eddie is violently ripped from his peaceful slumber by the sight of a mysterious, blanket-wrapped figure standing at the foot of the bed asking, “Why did you leave me?”
Eddie nearly dies on the spot. It takes him several seconds, and turning on the light, to realize the terrifying apparition is, in fact, just Buck who is apparently very upset that Eddie abandoned him on the couch.

Summary
Buck has a perfectly normal evening planned.
Dinner with Eddie. Maybe drinks. A movie with Eddie and Christopher. Nothing complicated.
Then a warehouse fire keeps the 118 late, and Buck has to cancel. Simple enough.
Except Buck's thumb has other plans.
One accidentally sent text later, Buck is spiraling, Eddie is concerned, and neither of them is prepared for the chaos caused by six words and a very poorly timed send button.
All Buck wanted was to cancel dinner.
Somehow, he may have just made everything a whole lot more complicated.

Of course, Buck has approximately a thousand feelings about this. There are quiet mornings, too much coffee, arguments about when they're allowed to leave bed, and one very important question: When do they tell Christopher?

"Well?" Legend raised an impatient eyebrow, and Wild turned away. How was he going to explain this? He'd told them virtually nothing of his journey. How was he supposed to convey how terrible this situation was? That the Blights had been revived.

Summary
Really it was just a fluke. Wild hadn’t meant to bash into a cliff face. And honestly, he is perfectly fine, thank you very much Twilight! He is perhaps a tad winded and a little (very) bruised all over his back but there would be no permanent damage. Certainly nothing that can’t be fixed with a hearty dinner and good night's sleep.
Alternatively: Healing potions don't work on Wild, Twilight unknowingly incites chaos, and Warriors is having a very bad day.

Time curses every divine being he knows, as Twilight dashes into battle with the newest Hero, and the Hero reciprocates, nothing but a blue blur as the kid slows time, effortlessly landing hits that no regular hylian could dream of. Hell, this guy is landing hits that no mortal could think of, as he backflips once more, rushing towards the rancher, but never getting the chance to beat Twilight up. Sky and Warriors drag the new kid away, and Twilight is held in place by Time, as his firm hand clamps down on Twi’s shoulder. He's breathing heavily, a small stream of blood flowing from his nose.

Before he could so much as turn his head to see who was calling for him, what had happened, Wild was suddenly thrown headfirst into a memory - his first in what felt like years.
