Summary
Over one of the branches is one of the traps for dragons, a metal net suspended in the air, at the florist floor next to Toothless lay a discarded shepherd's crook. I hold it in my hands, the wood looks old, but the most strange thing about it is the thin line of hoarfrost covering it in a fern pattern, like a painting.
“Hello?” I hear a voice calling from above, turning my face. I set my gaze on the net, at first I thought it was some empty net, a dragon trap that was abandoned or malfunctioned, but then I saw it. There is someone inside it.

Jack has had an unusual habit of telling stories he doesn't remember where he heard from, and even in moments of joy, he feels a fear he can't get rid of. One day, the Moon decides that Jack has had enough normal days and decides to reveal a truth that changes Jack's life for the days to come.
With truths being revealed and strange emotions sending him over the edge, can Jack find out the root of everything that is happening— what the archipelago is, why it was concealed, and who he really is, or will he loose himself in the process, with Pitch lurking around? Summary
After his father's death, Hiccup HAD to become chief, and he did but he was struggling to manage everything.
It wasn't the work itself that was the problem, but rather... personal issuesHis biggest concerns was Valka, her Bewilderbeast had died in the battle against Drago’s Alpha while trying to protect everyone, and the loss had devastated her. Day by day, her grief seemed to become bigger and bigger, yet, there was a glimmer of hope, something of her remained with she:
her egg.
It was the one and only egg a Bewilderbeast would lay in its entire lifetime. Like Valka, the egg seemed to be fading and growing weaker day by day, a decline that probably would be fatal for him. Hiccup tried to help the egg and comfort his mother, but everything kept going wrong. He exhausted every option available to him until only one choice remained, seeking a solution beyond Berk. A mystic island, place of ceaseless blizzards where the snow never stopped and winter reigned eternal, a place from which no one had ever been or ever returned. And to make things stranger, the egg began to react in peculiar ways; it was almost as if... nature itself was answering it? Or was the island calling out to it?
Who knows...

Jack faced North, eyeing him suspiciously, but the old Guardian was staring right past him, eyes locked on something. His mouth fell slack and he seemed to lose strength in his limbs. Except for one.
"Jamie!" Jack gasped. North's face turned pale.

It's a brand new winter after the defeat of Pitch, and Jack goes to look for Jamie in his room. But Jamie is gone. Where did he disappear? Jack has to go find and protect him! When Jack and Jamie meet again, everything has changed and the dragons are not helping.

Summary
When Hiccup was just a babe, a dragon had stood over him, wings outspread and jaw opened wide. Before the dragon could eat him, his mother swooped in the room, rushing towards the dragon with all the might of a viking.
He lost her that day. It's the story his father told him growing up, the reason Hiccup knows his father won't accept dragon riding. It's the reason he leaves Berk, pushing Toothless to continue going even as he looked back at the slowly fading Berk.
Stoick the Vast had lost too much from dragons to even think of accepting them back in his life.

Summary
For five years, Pitch had been silent, and for five uneventful years Jack had fulfilled his new duty as guardian.
But a battle, a tree, and a reunion with the boogeyman sends jack spiraling through space and time, to a strange new place filled with even stranger people.
Jack felt a heavy weight on his chest, pressing down, until his limbs felt heavy with lead. His hair was wet, matted with sweat to the side of his brow.
he would have been content to lay there for a fraction of forever, but a floorboard creaked and his eyes shot open.
Springing forward for his staff in an iron clad grip; Jack put it between himself, Jamie, and the intruder taking up the doorway.
Whoever that may be, stopped in his tracks. Lifted his hands in the air and Slowly, as if jack was a wounded animal about to bolt, took a step forward.
“I’m not going to hurt you…”

Summary
Everything goes haywire, and Jack lands straight into the land of Vikings and… Dragons?
Jack is now stuck at least a thousand years into the past. I mean- it's great and all, especially now that everyone can see him (although it is a little weird) but being mortal, having absolutely no powers, and no way back in a land full of violence.
Things are surely about to get rough...
But maybe... The son of the chief. The only one who maybe- trusts him. A scrawny young kid named Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the III (horrendous name, I know), could help him out.

He ran and ran and ran, hearing them right on his heels. As he pushed through a bush he reached the shoreline, watching as the sun set along the horizon. He turned around, knowing he had no where to go.
The men poured out in less than a second, not slowing down for a moment as they ran forward and through him.
Through him.
Jack looked down at his pale hands, turning to watch as the men fanned out to search for him. Somehow, he found the moon immediately, as if he were being drawn to it.
Jack Frost.

Summary
The stranger proceeded to speak, but in a language Jack couldn’t place, despite his hundreds of years of exploration. It had a weight and fullness to it that sounded Scandinavian, but the accent and the vowels were off. He had a nasally voice, and he spoke quickly, hands twitching a little like he wanted to wave them again but didn’t want to startle Jack. The Nightmare behind him watched, interested. Ready to pounce if it felt the tide change.
“I — I can’t—” Jack interrupted him. “I have no clue what you’re saying.”

When the Overland twins go spend a day at Hiccup's they expect a lot of things. Sweet, sappy things, distinctly debauched things, and perhaps a loss of ability to walk the next day. They do not, however, expect him up at his computer after pulling an all nighter. Perhaps they can persuade him to relax.

Summary
Usually Hiccup doesn't return with more people than he set out with on dragon trapper raids. And usually folk around the archipelago speak Norse or something close to it. And usually everyone in Berk is a friend of and friendly with dragons.
But then there's Jack, making life pretty unusual.
