Summary
The boy stuck his tongue out and dramatically made eye contact as he stepped into oncoming traffic, pitching forward like a seesaw. A speeding red sedan stopped abruptly, honking loudly as the driver stuck his head out the window to yell before gesturing rudely at the boy and continuing down the road.
Why was he wearing shades that looked like they came right out of the Meiji era? She shook her head and went back to her meal, chewing thoughtfully on a piece of fried eggplant.
Can be totally standalone from RTTS as it's a prequel. A lot less heavy, less lore in general from that story :) More focused on fun stuff!
