The first thing she noticed was the lingering headache splitting down the middle of her forehead. It was hardly noticeable at first, coming down like a crack in a stone. Cascading till it covered nearly every inch of her head. Even thinking made it hurt. One thought that dared float around her head would soon turn into ten, pounding for release.
To make matters worse, she could hardly remember the last forty eight hours. It was all a blur of emotions and feelings, angered shouts and panicked cries. Until the silence hit.
Then came nothing.

Summary
Fire was an element that either commanded respect or consumed fear. Aelita Kenshin had experienced both feelings during her sixteen years of life. A firebending master reduced to nothing but the hollow shell of what she once was, the Butcher of Ba Sing Se no longer trusted the power beneath her fingertips.
The entire world believed the Avatar to be dead and nearly all of the Akira's world thought she was too. Forced to leave Aelita's body behind, Aang and the others are left to grapple with the grief that threatens to overwhelm them with only their desire for peace and justice pushing them forward.
Welcomed home as war heroes next to their sister, twin Princes Zuko and Zetzu are thrust back into the game of thrones, forced to face their demons. With tensions rising faster than Sozin's Comet approaches, it's soon clear that only one of them can be left to inherit their family's scorched legacy.

btw: Yarri was born at the Eastern air temple in 816 BG (so a long time before the avatar series takes place) she’s is in the cycle before yangchen.
"The avatar state" is what Yarri learns it is called. A deadly source of power and destruction rooted deep in her own spirit, with enough raw strength to preform bending feats the greatest masters could hardly dream of.
But, in an era where the peacemaking job of the avatar is needed so desperately, with the tensions reaching a boiling point between earth kingdom leaders and citizens, and fire nation islands left in poverty and disarray. The world leaders crumble under pressure and beg for the avatars help.
can this avatar really make a difference? should she try? is she even right to be the avatar? is she strong enough?
Yarri doesnt know much about the work thats cut out for her, but she does know that its her job until death, and hers only.

After meeting with the president, Korra was letting off steam at a small port in a town adjacent to Republic city with Iroh there to listen. There, out in the ocean, the Avatar spotted an ominous light that could have been a spirit. Or it could have been something worse.
