"Mr. Malfoy are you in accordance?” The inquisitor asks, perhaps in hopes that Draco would protest, due to their shared history. Funny, no one asked if he was in accordance with his old master.
He turns slightly in Potter’s direction but keeps his gaze well away from his eyes. In his life, Draco always had two possible reactions to people with more power than him: he would either try to squash them under his boot and take their place, or immediately roll over to any authority figure. He spent his whole life fighting Harry Potter. Perhaps now it’s time to try the other approach.
