“Iasis, you look lovely.” Per’sus made a small bow in return.
“Thank you.” She wiggled her fins.
“Did your father make you the bow?”
“Yes.” She twisted slightly to show off the tiny purple bow that must have been glued to the side of her head.

When Iasis, a young Tok’ra symbiote, lacks a much needed social life, Per’sus takes her out on an innocent uncle-niece “date.”
Iasis’ father, Lantash, is overprotective, her sister is amused, and Per’sus knows he probably set off rumors among the Tok’ra.

Barely an adult, he was kneeling over a woman, tending to multiple arrow injuries. Xena was proud how well he was learning the craft. Fighting. Being a swordsman. That wasn’t what anyone had ever wanted for him.
“I can’t stop the bleeding,” he said frantically as a boy, a stranger, watched helplessly.

When Gabrielle destroyed the Loom of the Fates, she changed more than she will ever know. Now she and Xena are living and enjoying life.

Unfortunately, it seemed not to be his night. Ten minutes into what was supposed to be a peaceful flight, his chest and right wing were shot. He spiraled downward, righting himself enough to aim for a skyscraper. He dug his claws into the wall, sliding downward before coming to a stop. He grunted heavily in pain, feeling dizzy, knowing that he was bleeding out.
He was suddenly hit with an electric shock, and he screamed in pain as he fell to the concrete below.

“Hurton wasn’t sure. Years ago, and he doesn’t know if life support was left on. If it wasn’t, we may be seeing…preserved corpses.”

“Yes.” Delek jerked.
“Are you alright?”
“No.”

“Thank you.” He pulled her closer, and strong fingers made her gasp.
