Summary
You wondered why you ever got accepted into NRC but never bothered to look back when the infamous black carriage whisked you away from a place you could never call home. Having been handed an opportunity of freedom, of solitude, of hope- how come you're paralyzed with fear rather than excitement? Your sunny plein air sessions and nightly walks contemplating this has attracted a certain dragon fae with an affinity for your nimble gargoyle sketches and magnificent paintings.
Character's lore heavily based on "changelings"- they are fae children who are swapped out with human children because fae believe humans strengthen their bloodline, can be used as servants, etc. They usually develop faster, are an "unearthly" beauty, and are quite intelligent, but appear/behave odd and unnerving. Their existence stems from religious beliefs that odd/sickly children are possessed by the devil/succubus/incubi or a hybrid of the latter and human. TW for religious trauma and child abuse overall but I'm adding comfort since I would literally explode without it. Am I projecting as an art history major with a noggin full of trauma? Shut up. Notes at the end explaining some of the terms. My autistic brain isn’t satisfied without one

I recently got into Disney – Twisted Wonderland…
This game is so cute and I love having a non-dating game (that still has handsome characters) where you DON’T need to pay excessive amounts of money to progress. Its story is engaging and the characters well rounded and defined. The Gacha Mechanic is very mild and hardly of any struggle to save up Points for~ The only struggle is leveling characters, and that just takes patience.
And all the while I have been wondering what happens if Nightmare was in this world.
Nightmare is the Guardian of Negativity. He is a Being who can feed on the Negative Emotions of others. Nightmare has a dark Past and basically Overbolts when he has enough Black Apples… Nim was basically a Fae on the level of Maleficent if you really think about it. There’s even the Corrupted entity that instead of forming behind him forms around his form… which honestly fits Nightmare’s desire to escape all the pain.So…
How does one little guardian handle a world full of trauma and tribulation?
Can he grow and adapt, or crack under the pressure?I OWN NOTHING

And so, their strange domestic life began. It was a snowy Monday morning when Riddle got the call he wouldn’t be able to attend class, and Floyd didn’t have work that day on his schedule. That meant they were in the house together for the first time, for the entire day, where they had nothing but chores to do. There was a fresh layer of powdery snow outside the building, so going outside wasn’t perfectly ideal, and there were still large flakes falling down in front of their window. Riddle sat up, watching the snowfall, though when he tried to get out of bed, two long arms wrapped around his waist and pulled him right back down.
“Floyd Leech!” Riddle gasped, trying to get out of his grasp, grunting and thrashing. “I have things I MUST do today! There’s chores, homework, I’ve got to brush my teeth-!”
Before he could list anything else, Floyd had quickly slammed his mouth onto the other’s, roughly forcing his tongue into Riddle’s mouth, running it over his teeth. When he pulled away, the smaller face was bright red and his mouth was agape in shock.
“Your teeth feel pretty clean to me.”

She had been trying to do sewing to keep her busy, to not think about her grandson, but now that he was home she was back on edge. even when she heard the door to the truck open and slam, she panicked. They didn’t sound happy, and she could hear her son yelling at Epel all the way up to the door.
Epel threw the door open and stormed upstairs without a word, his father still yelling at him the whole way up, about how he could be so stupid. Marja got up and walked over to him, smacking his arm and telling him to shush up. “What could he have possibly done that warrants that gosh darn behaviour?!” She whisper-shouted.
“Well, mama, someone went and got himself knocked up!”
