Set mid season 3."On Friday night, Lestat locked Jarda in a storage closet. Jarda banged on the door, but everyone else had left, and Lestat didn’t care. He opened Jarda’s phone—huh, facial recognition worked, well that would save having to hypnotise Jarda for the code. Lestat checked the messages first. The most recent confirmed his suspicions. Meet at Ascetics, 6pm. Arun.

What he currently lacks in finances, he makes up for in his ability to flirt. Perhaps that will come in handy...
The two strike a deal. Friction and chaos ensues.

Summary
Whatever carefully blank expression Lestat is trying on disappears like a slap. “Armand made a fledgling. Why would he do that?” Lestat asks.
“Oh, you know,” Louis says, watching the three dots of a new text pop up. “He knew Daniel was… important to me.”
He means to say it with rueful annoyance, as if to say, “so he ruined him.” But as Daniel’s text comes in—the most important question I should have asked you in that fucking interview: where do you buy coke in Dubai?—Louis’s voice trails off, his words maybe lacking some of the bite.

Lestat misunderstands what Daniel is to Louis and tries to be a champ about it. Meanwhile Louis rediscovers his drug of choice—Lestat.

A single tear leaked out of the corner of Louis’s eye after those lips parted from the tender skin as he choked out, “You’re not real. You’re not actually here. You hate me, you tried to kill me- you killed her-”
Another soft, sad smile. Long fingers stroked what remained of Louis’ hair as the apparition simply said, “I love you, Louis.”
Lips trembling, Louis opened his mouth to answer his beautiful apparition, to beg for the spectre’s words to be true in reality. To tell him that Louis loved him too because he never had. He never told him, and now he never would and it burned but before the words could leave his lips that scorching sensation materialized within his flesh. It ripped through his nerve endings, entwining with the phantom of the sun still throbbing within him and burning through to his heart, across his torso and into his groin.
orThe human Armand killed for witnessing Louis' attempted walk into the sun left behind a widow, a witch. To avenge her husband and get long-game revenge on his murderer, she curses his companion; his yearning will burn him from the inside out, and the only cure is his true love.

When Louis first hears Lestat’s voice on the radio, the dull life he spends wasting away in the old farmhouse comes undone. He writes a letter to beautiful Lestat, who looks just like his late wife, asking him for a signed poster. Lestat answers once. And Louis writes him again. And again. And again. Until frustration turns to rage and admiration fates into hatred. Casual allusions to bad luck become confessions of brute violence. Louis’ loneliness has long turned him into something awful. Something that may only become good if it gets to have Lestat.
Human AU/stalker/letter fic where a severely fucked psycho stalker Louis falls for rockstar Lestat and floods him with letters, ranging from declarations of adoration over gloomy Du Lac family lore to detailed descriptions of fucking and killing, over a span of four seasons leading up to Lestat’s concert.

Human Louis meets Human Lestat... and the rest is up to your imagination.
Paris in the autumn lacks a pulse; it is bloodless, polite, and thoroughly tedious. At least, that is what Louis de Pointe du Lac believes until the second act begins at a dim Parisian playhouse. On stage is Lestat de Lioncourt- a starving artist wrapped in fraying blue velvet, spilling his soul for pennies, and living entirely on the surface of his perfect skin. He is beautifully, fascinatingly defenseless.
Louis doesn't look at him with appreciation. He looks at him with predator eyes.
Back home in New Orleans, they break fragile things just to see what’s inside them. And when a monstrous November storm finally drives a freezing, desperate Lestat straight to the doors of the Hôtel de Crillon, Louis is more than ready to strip away the theater armor, claim the wreckage, and show his lamb exactly what it means to be entirely owned.

great, heaving gasps flood out of him, lungs seizing in distress, and he folds over on himself, hands on his knees, and sobs escape from behind the trembling hand lestat has slapped over his mouth in a desperate attempt at damage control. if his bandmates came out and saw him now, lestat isn’t confident he wouldn’t just kill them all right then and there to avoid the humiliation of admitting how deeply their words affected him.
vampires don’t have mental illnesses. vampires don’t have any illnesses.
this is what lestat thinks to himself as he allows his body the time to shake and tremble and feel the complicated, nameless bullshit emotions he always feels. sure he has a lot of feelings. maybe he is prone to lashing out from time to time. but he’s not fucking crazy.

In a world where soulmates can feel each other’s pain, Wilson had always grown up wondering if he really had a soulmate. Sure, he could feel the occasional twinge like that of a bruise or cut without actually seeing one, but he had always chalked those up to random aches and pains that everybody got.
