When Sasuke Uchiha was eight, he told his father that he was scared of the thing in his closet. Instead of a bedtime story, his dad gave him a .45, loaded with consecrated iron rounds. Fugaku Uchiha needed his son to be able to defend himself, because he wanted the thing in Sasuke's closet dead and thought Sasuke should be the one to do it. Because between the skeevy motels, shitty diners, thousands of miles traveled, there was a purpose: saving people, hunting things, and carrying out the family business.
With that, a new hunt brought Sasuke to the sleepy town of Kenton, Nebraska, a place teetering on the edge of imminent destruction. However, Sasuke was just trying to deal with his own problems at the moment. As if secretly submitting to colleges behind his father’s back, hunting violent spirits trying to kill him, and the terrifying nightmares plaguing Sasuke’s brain wasn’t enough, on top of that, some obnoxious blond boy would just not leave him alone.
