When he respawns back at the base, they’ll attempt to hide their disappointment with soft words but eyes that say Oh this guy again. They’ll tell him it’s okay it happens to the best of us, it’s fine, when it’s not, nothing is right, don’t they realize that? People have died on this island, some of them have loved ones that died, and with one wrong mistake, any one of them can be next—

Summary
Technoblade hasn't seen Philza in several years. This is relatively normal in their friendship.
Every letter he sends is left without a response. Not a single letter in two years. That... is not so normal.
And even when he runs into a new face that are rather familiar with Philza, Techno can sense something is... off. But he can't do anything about it, not when he has no idea where Philza is.
Until, as if fate itself was losing patience... he does, and it's not a happy reunion, to say the least.

Philza wakes up after a nightmare he already forgets. Missa is there to help calm his nerves, to help him come back to reality.

Missa doesn't know if he's capable of saving Philza from the entity trying to lay claim to his body. He doesn't know if he'd even be able to handle a fight against him, if it came to it.
But he goes to find him anyway. He has to try.

Welcome to the kinda bullet fic, kinda group of paragraphs that I wrote nearly entirely in Discord after I threw the idea in there to see what comes about, then promptly picked it up myself once a few people chimed in with ideas and gave me the writing bug. This ended up being many thousand words more than intended, so dig in.Follow me as I dive into the scenario of Missa taking the pills to try and make himself stronger and better, not knowing about Forever and Pac's fate after receiving the same drugs, hoping to be enough for Phil after all his failures.
And follow me as I describe how Phil manages to bring him home.

What if we could turn back the clock? See the story again? What if it went differently? What if it didn't have to end?
A retelling of the whole QSMP story, originally made up of 68 pages and 256 paragraph length bullet points, now made into a full fic. It centers mostly around the death family with delightful encounters with many other favorite characters (Ash demands as much Fred as possible...).
Removing the restrictions of streamer schedules to accentuate many friendships and dynamics, expanding on abandoned storylines or plot points that didn't work out.
So. Let's tell this story one more time.
