Megatron should be dead. One inch deeper and Optimus Prime’s blade would’ve ended him—but mercy, or something far more foolish, had him function for another day. As Knockout seals his wounds, Megatron’s thoughts spiral past pain, past fury, to a new obsession: legacy. The Autobots have an heir. The Decepticons? Not yet. But they will. Megatron intends to claim a lineage of his own… and he knows just the Prime to take it from.
