Summary
It was quite common knowledge among the Parisians now that there were about to be great changes in their seemingly immortal kingdom. As more and more money slips through the cracks, following the American Revolution and a particularly harsh year for harvests, the streets of Paris are left destitute, their people starving.
Yoo Joonghyuk was lucky enough to claim the title of butcher, in one of the shops closest to the Notre Dame Cathedral. This was enough of a blessing to get by, but not enough to be blinded to all worries, despite clear proof such things may be possible when one becomes rich enough.
Thus, he, too, had caught wind of the changing tides; until now, he had never felt a need to dabble in it before. He had no intention of letting that change. That is, until recently.Kim Dokja is the mighty king of all France in the grand year of our lord, 1789.
Of course, all situations and worries are but temporary, as they have always been.

Summary
It starts because Fushiguro Megumi is a thinker.
It ends because Itadori Yuji is too fucking stubborn to give up.
And really, once they met, no one stood a chance against the two of them. Especially the corrupt upper levels of Japan's jujutsu society.
(a.k.a Megumi didn't have much patience to begin with and it's all gone now, so he's just going to stop waiting and fix all these fucking problems himself.)
(a.K.a Yuji got a new world and a new brother on the same day and if everyone could just stop assuming they're dating that would be great. It's hard enough to get Sukuna to commit without having to worry about Gojo offing him because he thinks Yuji is cheating on Megumi.)

He wishes Sukuna was as ugly as his reputation, with missing teeth and wrinkles and a large belly— but he is just the opposite, and somehow, it just makes Megumi hate him more.

Megumi spends his days in his small harbor town slaving away for the Zenins and drinking with Nobara, but one night things go very wrong and he finds himself at the mercy of Sukuna Ryomen, notorious pirate captain. To make matters worse, his father is his only saving grace.
