Summary

And now…” Megatron gestured at Starscream, as if there were some meaning to be read from his waxed and polished exterior. “There’s quite a bounty on your head. On your trinemates too. Surely there is more that draws you to the Decepticon cause than just running the numbers.”
“If you want a fanatic, look somewhere else,” Starscream snapped. He admired Megatron, and his writing, but he wasn’t going to grovel for a chance at the brand.
“I want honesty,” Megatron grinned. “You could get a cushy position in any Autobot lab, or take one of the transports leaving Cybertron every breem, even with your checkered past. But you chose not to. I want you to admit why.”

Starscream wishes things had gone differently with Skyfire, but he is no idiot; he might sulk, but he knows very well that some things cannot be changed. Except Skyfire thinks differently. In fact, he is insistent that Starscream can become a better mech if someone cares enough to put the work in- no matter how Starscream feels about it.

Verity has no idea what to do now that the war is over. After spending time with Magnus and the Wreckers, she's come back to Earth with no high school diploma, no money, and no where to go- so she joins Magnus on the Lost Light. While many aboard are excited to have a human crewmember, or at least, are ambivalent about her, some despise having an organic organism aboard. Well, too bad. Cause Verity is here to stay.

Northam is the leader of a group of Reavers- the name given to those who clean up battlefields when the fighting is over. When the army pushes through villages, towns and cities, the living are divided by utility. The women are drafted as wives. The men as slaves or canon fodder. The boys are taken to camps to be trained as child soldiers, and the girls are left behind. Tainted by the touch of death, and protected from worse fates by a quirk of tradition, their choices are to join up, or make their own way.
Northam only wants to keep everyone alive for another day, and to make enough salvage to provide for their next meal. With the addition of Argot, an obvious royal in hiding with a talent for swordplay, she must now focus on a larger goal: surviving the monsters the war has created, figuratively and literally.

The scent of Jaskier’s lute oil, and a faint hint of rosemary lingers in the doorway, and he knows that this is the right place. Geralt raises his hand, and knocks. He counts his heartbeats to tell how long it’s been since the first time his knuckles kissed the wood. One. Beyond the door, someone sighs and sets something down on what must be wood. A drink, Geralt imagines, from an interrupted evening meal. Two. And then there are slow footsteps that halt behind the door for two beats, as if to collect himself before answering. Three, four. And then finally, the door opens.
Geralt had imagined Jaskier to be just as he remembered last; his hair still the same warm earthen brown, the blue of his eyes still the same warm summer sky. A person saved in portraiture, unchanging like paint on canva; but he is human, Geralt knows. That doesn’t make the differences any easier to bear.
The Jaskier standing before him is not the same.

Minimus Ambus is a public defense lawyer assigned to represent the terrorist D-16, better known as Megatronus, in court. Three problems: One is that the position requires Minimus to stay at The Prison for solar cycles at a time, with nothing to do besides speak to his client, and prepare for the trial. Another is that it's well known that the trial is a farce, and that Minimus has no chance of winning. But the third is the worst of all: the more Minimus spends time with Megatron, the more he's starting to believe that Megatronus might be right.

Enter: Haruhi. Quite literally, they run into each other, and out of a shared desire to get better at learning each other's languages, become study buddies; this, of course, has the unintentional result of Natalie coming into orbit of the Host Club, who while they thankfully speak English, are also batshit insane. Throw in a complicated past and a messy future and you get a mess of massive proportions.

Jon would be lying if he said he never thought of his boss this way before. Only idly, in the manner that anyone with an attractive boss might indulge in a midnight fantasy. He’d thought of the most basic of porn tropes; the performance review, begging for a raise or not to be fired. Each had fit Elias’ no nonsense attitude badly, like an untailored suit. He’d never quite imagined this.
